Working on American Pastoral offered an incredible challenge in capturing the essence of evolving decades through design. One of the key sets, the Newark Maid Gloves factory, spanned from the 1940s to the 1970s, requiring every detail—from advertisements to logo updates—to reflect the evolving styles of each decade. Beyond the factory, I designed elements to capture the passage of time across other sets, from mid-century wallpapers to late '60s imagery created for the daughter's world.
